We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, website URL, and any details you share through our contact forms. We also collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) when you use our website. When you submit a form we also record how you reached us — the page you submitted from, the site that referred you, and any campaign parameters in the web address — so we know which of our efforts actually help people find us. With your consent, we additionally collect website analytics data as described under Cookies and Analytics below.
When you run a free health check we store the website address you submitted, the email address you gave us, and the report we produced. The report is reachable only through the unique link we send you; it is not listed anywhere, is excluded from search engines, and is not published.
The check reads only what your website already shows the public — the same pages and public DNS records any visitor or search engine can request. We never ask for, receive, or use a password or any other access to your site.
We keep health check reports for 24 months so you can come back to yours and compare it against a later one, then delete them. A report for a given website may be reused for up to 24 hours to avoid re-scanning the same site repeatedly. If you would like your report and the address associated with it deleted sooner, email [email protected] and we will remove them.
We use your information to provide and improve our services, communicate with you about your account, send service-related notices, and respond to your inquiries. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL.
We use a deliberately small number of browser storage technologies, in two groups that behave very differently.
Strictly necessary. Always active, because the site cannot work correctly without them, and they cannot be used to follow you across other websites. These are the record of your cookie choice itself and your progress on any interactive checklist you tick through. All of them are stored locally in your own browser and are never transmitted to us. Checklist progress can be cleared at any time with the Reset button on the checklist itself.
Analytics and advertising. Off by default. These load only after you accept them. We use Google Analytics 4, deployed through Google Tag Manager, to understand which pages and which channels bring people to us. If you decline, those tags are never loaded and no analytics or advertising data about your visit is collected.
We implement Google Consent Mode v2. Until you choose, analytics storage, advertising storage, ad personalization and ad user data are all set to denied, and advertising identifiers are redacted. Declining is a real refusal, not a preference we work around. You can change your mind at any time:
With your consent, Google Analytics 4 collects standard measurement data about your visit: the pages you view, an approximate location derived from your IP address, your device and browser type, how you arrived at the site, and interactions such as starting or submitting our contact form. Google processes this information on our behalf, and may process it outside your country, including in the United States.
We do not send your name, your email address, or the contents of your message to Google Analytics. Analytics data is retained for 14 months and then deleted automatically. We have not enabled Google Signals, so your analytics activity is not joined to your signed-in Google account for our reporting.
We intend to run paid search advertising. When we do, advertising tags will load only for visitors who have accepted advertising cookies, and their purpose is to measure which ads produce genuine enquiries. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not build advertising profiles about individuals ourselves.
We use third-party services for website hosting, database storage, and the transactional email that confirms we received your message. With your consent we also use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, as described above. We do not process payments on this website. These providers have their own privacy policies, and we share only the minimum information necessary for them to provide their service.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can also request a copy of all data we hold about you, object to processing, or withdraw consent you have previously given.
